Its true, The Good they do Die Young. We lost a Friend and fellow Bark River LIONS member Sat. the 15th day of January at approx. 9:30a:m. Larry Belanger lost his long battle with cancer. Larry was Born Dec. 17th,1956 in Norway, The son of John and Florence (Gibour) Belanger. Larry has done alot for the Bark River Lions Club and the Bark River International Raceway that most people never knew about. He wasn't one that looked for any recognition or limelight for anything he did.
Larry spent countless hours helping put this website together, & constantly updateing it for me and others. More recently even during his treatments this past summer Larry would go out to the Race track and cut the grass in the Campground. All Summer through the hot sun he would climb aboard the ol Ford Tractor and made that Campground Beautiful for the Racers & Fans alike even though he wasn't feeling the best. Larry and his wife Marilyn have worked the Time Shack during the past several years. Rest in Peace Larry and Thanks Again. May the good Lord take you into his arms. We will always remember you Larry for your Smiles and Positive Attitude.
Please keep Larry and his Family in your thoughts and Prayers.
Love & Respect
